Within your Trustist REVIEWer account, there are unique review collection links for each of your locations. These links can be used to collect reviews on your chosen review sources, including Google, Facebook, Yell, Yelp and Trustist.
The unique review collection link(s) within your account can be used to collect reviews in multiple ways:
- Face-to-face
- Text/Online
How to find your review collection link(s)
To access your review collection link(s), you first need to head to https://www.trustistreviewer.com/uk/ and login to your account. Once you have logged in, scroll down to the location that you would like to collect reviews for and click ‘View’.
Scroll down to the box titled HTML Snippet. This is where your review collection link is stored within each location. Clicking the link will open up the review screen for that location, which will give users the option to leave their review on Trustist (no login required) or any other review sources you collect reviews on.
Collecting reviews via email
Using the review link(s) within your account, it is extremely easy to ask customers for a review via email. All you would need to do is navigate to your review link within your account then copy and paste it into the body of the email being sent out to the customer. When they click on the link they will then be presented with the different options of where they can leave their review. This could be done individually each time you wish to ask a specific customer for a review, or the review link could be integrated into any existing email templates that are sent to clients after working with you.
Alternatively, the review link can also be added to your email signature to ensure that everyone you correspond with has the opportunity to leave a review for your business. This can be done by simply copying the link into your signature, or you can add it as a hyperlinked image that customers are able to click on to leave their review.
Collecting reviews face-to-face
One of the most efficient ways our clients have found to collect reviews in the past is by asking customers to leave the review whilst they are still with them. People are far more likely to leave a good review if asked face-to-face, and you are also taking advantage of their ‘moment of delight’. This is the moment immediately after they have received a great service from your business, and is when they are most likely to share positive comments.
All you need to do in order to collect reviews from customers face-to-face, is open the review collection link up on your phone and hand it across to the customer. They can then click on their chosen review source and enter their comments before handing the phone back to you.
You can also save the review link as an icon on your phone’s home screen to ensure it is easily accessible when you are with customers. To do this, please follow the steps here.
Collecting reviews via text (or other online methods)
This method is very similar to collecting review via email, and all you need to do is copy the review collection link from within your account and paste it into a text or wherever you would like to ask people to leave a review.
It is important when using the review collection link this way to ensure that you have considered who will be able to access the link and leave a review for your business. This is why we recommend sticking to the two options discussed previously, as that way you know only genuine clients are being asked for their feedback. Leaving the platform entirely open by allowing anyone to leave you a review increases the possibility of receiving false/spam reviews or even reviews from competitors.
